How do you change a members name color?

I know you can change a groups color... for example all Administrators will be red in the 'Active Users' list.

But how do I make it show in the active forum that someones name is red/blue/green.. etc?

The only way I can think of would be with a mod specifically for that.
I would recommend checking over at IPS Resources or Invisionize.

I think this is what your talking about :

Admin CP > Manage User Groups > Edit the group you want > Go down to like the 4th box (Online List Format) > copy and paste this :

<span style='font-weight:bold;color:red'>
in the box and change the thing that says red to whatever colour you want smile.gif

etc. etc.
