I KNOW THIS POST IS IN THE WRONG PLACE, BUT I COULDN'T POST ANYWHERE ELSE. SORRY.

Ok briefly, I am an admin for an Invision forum, hosted by Rapidboards.

Me and my team have been trying to add a banner we made and uploaded it onto imageshack where the direct link URL is available on.

We know where to edit to upload the banner, that is in html templates > global > boarders...and found the appropriate section:

<!--IBF.BANNER-->
<div id='logostrip'>
<a href='{ibf.script_url}' title='SLIGHT KO'><img src='{ibf.vars.img_url}/logo4.gif' alt='Powered by Invision Power Board' border="0" /></a>

The link to the banner was placed after "img src" but after updating it an error message keeps coming up:

"Cannot write into './Skin/s1/skin_global.php', please check the CHMOD value, and if needed, CHMOD to 0777 via FTP. IBF cannot do this for you."

What does this mean and what do we do to fix this so the banner is accepted and shows on the forums?

Please help and thanks in advance smile.gif
