DSL > Cable
DSL is constant, as Cable fluxuates.
Sure, you are capable of higher speeds than me - but not most of the time.
My speed is the EXACT same 24/7

Sure, would you like it via Air Mail or First Class. You can pay for the handling and shipping though.

Actually, I do not have the normal cable package that is typically offered like the TV ads. I have the Comcast Workplace - Enhanced package, and it is as follows:
Download speeds up to 5 times faster than a T-1. It is the ultimate high-speed service.
• Connection Speeds: Up to 8 Mbps* downstream and 1 Mbps* upstream
• Features: Business E-mail, Firewall/Router
• Options: Static IP addresses, Web Site Solutions
• Priority Business Class support
So, while it may or may not be as constant as yours, it is better than most...

You're correct, mine is not free but as a business, I wouldn't expect it to be. I demand dependability for my business as my income depends on it. I am curious though, as are others, how you are able to receive DSL free. I dare not make an assumption of pre-judgement without knowing all the facts first...

My Mom works for SBC, so we get free DSL.

Yes, that's on the short list of advantages of still living at home.

So, she's pretty high up the chain, due to her like eons of working there (like 25 years) - so we get free/discounted stuff.
Most SBC employees don't get any free some, and most still don't even get discounts.
